Two internal LEDs indicate operational status - red indicates an error or lock mode and green indicates key press or touch is active. Unit also provides user feedbaclk with key beep and error tones. If an accident occurs or the vehicle is damaged, the supervisor can prompt the unit to provide the user code of the last operator. The STL1000 also features an internal clock that records "on" hours and notifies the operator when the vehicle reaches the 250-hour maintenance cycle mark.
